Welcome to Stuuv – Brewery & Pub, the new brewery and pub in the heart of the beautiful Hanseatic city of Wismar. I’m Jan, the initiator of Stuuv, and I brought it to life when I was 28 years old.

 

I completed my practical training in Schlepzig in the Spreewald region at Spreewälder Privatbrauerei 1788 and then worked for another two years as a brewer and maltster. I also worked as a contract brewer together with my best mate Max at Wasserburg zu Gommern, where I was able to further develop my skills and experience.

 

My journey then took me to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Wismar, where I initially also worked as a brewer and maltster. Due to various circumstances, my plans to become self-employed and open my own brewery and pub moved forward more quickly.

 

At Christmas 2021, I told my family that I was going to do it.

 

On 13 September 2024, Stuuv – Brewery & Pub finally became a reality, creating a place where people can come together, enjoy good traditional beer and feel at home.

And we don’t just have beer – we have wine too. :)

 

Our brewery produces traditionally brewed beers using selected ingredients and plenty of passion. In our pub, you can enjoy these beers and spend some time in a cosy atmosphere.

 

It is important to us that our guests feel at home and have a great time with us. That is why WE place great value on quality, hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere.
